These quirky men's work socks celebrate the life of Olaudah Equiano (1745-1797), the former slave who tirelessly campaigned for the abolition of the slave trade.

As a young boy, Equiano was kidnapped for the Triangular Trade – a slave operation which ferried captured Africans to America and onto Europe.

After years of forced-labour, Equiano bought his freedom and became a renowned activist in London, fiercely attacking slavery and demanding abolition.

When slavery was finally abolished in 1807, Equiano’s contribution was posthumously heralded across the Commonwealth.

These unique socks are the ideal gift for men, made from luxury combed cotton to keep those feet warm and soft all year round. The office sock has never been so fun!
